Victor Dimas’s team shot an eight-under par score of 27 to win the championship flight in the first weekly golf scramble of the season Wednesday evening at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Other golfers on the winning team were Mario Dimas, Henry Villalobos and Wally Garza. This week’s closest-to-the-pin winner on hole number two was Mike Cope. The closest-to-the-pin winner on hole number seven was Jackie Batchelor. The weekly golf scrambles tee off every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Golfers are encouraged to sign up by 11 a.m. each Wednesday.
