It’s been three years since the Golden Tornadoes had a golfer tee off at regionals. Golden Tornado senior Cam Diaz and sophomore Helen Vargas are about to change all that. The second and final District 3-3A Golf Tournament of the season was played Monday at Lubbock’s Reese Golf Course, with Diaz and Vargas qualifying for regional.
