Lamesa’s Adi Cuellar won the eighth grade girls’ 200-meter dash in the Golden Tornado junior high girls’ track season opener this past Tuesday at Denver City.Cuellar’s winning time was 30.23.The Golden Tors’ Elisa Vaquera tied for second in the seventh grade girls’ 800 with a time of 2:56.59.“They didn’t have any field events at this meet because it was just too windy.
