Now in her 41st year as an educator, including the past 17 at O’Donnell, Coach Perri Clark says she’s never seen anything like this when it comes to cross country this fall.
“We figured that there might be some changes due to the COVID-19 but because it’s an outdoor sport, where you’ve got everybody already running in such open spaces, we really didn’t picture as many restrictions,” Clark said.
Those restrictions include where students can warm up before they run and a requirement to leave immediately after running.
