Borden County’s varsity and junior varsity teams all captured victories over Lorenzo during a busy evening of basketball action on Tuesday at Gail.
The Lady Coyotes’ varsity squad overcame an early deficit against Lorenzo to claim a 53-47 victory.
“That was a good win for us,” head coach Lindsey Schmidt said.
Trailing the Lady Hornets 27-14 at the half, the Lady Coyotes came back strong in the third quarter, putting up 20 points to the Lady Hornets’ eight, and performing similarly well in the final period.
