Borden County’s basketball girls chalked up their first win of the season Tuesday night at Big Spring with a 41-25 win over the Class 4A Steers.
It was only a four-point game at the half. Borden County, now 1-2 on the year, ended outscored their hosts 24-12 in the final two quarters.
“After being up by only four at the half, we made some adjustments. Defensively, we didn’t give up a field goal there in the fourth quarter,” BC Coach Lindsey Schmidt said.
