A big second quarter rally this past Tuesday evening at Slaton helped Borden County’s state ranked basketball girls hold off the Class 3A Tigerettes, 50-48.After that win, the Coyote girls, ranked 21st in this week’s Class 1A state poll, were 4-2 on the year going into this weekend’s Whiteface Tournament.
