Borden County’s annual Coyote Christmas Classic has plenty of quality hoop action to Gail this week. Based on the tournament’s first couple of days, their Coyotes are doing their best to provide the entertainment. After strong showings the first two days, both Borden County’s girls and boys were scheduled to play in Saturday night’s championship games. A strong start helped lead Borden County’s girls to a 42-33 win over Robert Lee Friday night. The Coyotes led 16-7 at the end of the first quarter and 29-13 at the half.
