The Borden County Coyotes’ softball team has finished their past three seasons in the state tournament.But they won’t be returning this season, courtesy of the Vernon Northside Indians.After getting shut out 1-0 last Thursday in the first game of their regional quarterfinal series, the Coyotes found their backs up against the wall going into Saturday’s game at Hawley.That game went into an extra inning before Vernon Northside pulled off a 9-7 win.
