When most opposing high school head football coaches talk about taking on Borden County, one of the first things which they normally bring up is the Coyotes’ rich tradition.
Rightfully so. The Coyotes have won five state six-man championships in their high school trophy case in the past 23 years. They now has their sights on winning 13 straight district championships.
A key matchup in that effort will come Friday when the Coyotes host the O’Donnell Eagles at Gail.
