After enjoying another very successful school year on both the playing fields and inside the classrooms, the Borden County Coyotes have been bestowed one of the highest scholastic achievements in the high school ranks.Borden County is the winner of this year’s UIL Lone Star Cup which is given in all high school classifications for their overall team performance in sanctioned UIL academic, athletic and music championships with one school recognized from each of the six UIL classifications: 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A.Points are awarded for winning district, regional and state UIL academic competitions.
