A couple of Borden County seniors aren’t quite ready to hang up their tennis shoes or in one individual’s case boots after signing their signatures this past week to letters of intent to compete at the next level.Borden County’s Kambell Schmidt will continue her rodeo career at Howard College in Big Spring and Coyotes’ Ish Rodriguez will follow his dream of playing college football at Wayland Baptist University at Plainview.One of the things which sold Schmidt on Howard College is being able to stay close to home.
