After reaching the UIL Class 1A State Softball Tournament a year ago, the Coyotes have made getting back to Belton a priority this season.
They now are only a weekend away from making that dream a reality.
Rallying from behind, Borden County beat Crosby-ton, 10-5, last Saturday in a Class 1A regional semi-final game at Lubbock Cooper.
“That’s the best Crosby-ton team I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot of them. They were in our old softball district when I was at Ralls,” BC Coach Bobby Feaster said.
Crosbyton had beaten Borden County earlier this season.
