Although the Klondike Cougars failed to return to the Region I-IA Volleyball Tournament at San Angelo this season, they still proved to be one of the top teams in the region. In fact, Klondike was the only team to push Sterling City into going five sets in the playoffs going into this weekend’s regional tournament. Going 8-3 against league opponents, the Cougars advanced to the Class 1A playoffs as 3-1A’s second seed.
