A strong start Tuesday evening at Sweetwater wasn’t quite enough for the Klondike Cougar volleyballers against the Class 4A Mustangs.After winning the first set against the Mustangs, 25-19, Sweetwater came back winning the next four sets 25-21, 25-19, and 25-18.“They had a couple of big hitters. They were pretty scrappy,” Klondike Coach Katie Cruz said. “Our girls still battled hard against them.“It’s always fun competing against the bigger schools.
