Klondike’s huge leap in this week’s Division I state six-man football poll might have surprised more than a few fans.
But, don’t put the Buena Vista Longhorns on any list of doubters.
After jumping from 43rd last week to 17th in this week’s Division 1 state poll, Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid’s Cougars went out Thursday night at Klondike and corralling the Buena Vista Longhorns, 53-0.
The game was stopped at the half on six-man’s 45-point mercy rule.
