A strong start helped pave the way last Friday night at Wellman-Unjon for the Klondike Cougars, who thumped the Wildcats, 75-36, in their District 8-1A opener.Klondike’s girls, now 16-5 overall, jumped out to a 26-9 first quarter lead and never looked back.
