A strong start last Saturday against Wellman-Union wasn’t enough to result in a victory for the Klondike Cougars in district volleyball action.
After winning the first two sets, 26-24 and 25-18,the Cougars ended up dropping the next three sets 27-25, 25-21 and 15-8.
With Saturday’s loss, the Cougars are now 3-3 in league play.
Klondike’s girls were scheduled to Rotan Tuesday evening but that game has been rescheduled. Those two teams will now face off with each other in a doubleheader at Rotan on Oct. 27.
The Cougar volleyballers will be back in action this coming Saturday at Loop.
