Take away the three-point line and there’s a good chance that the Golden Tornado basketball boys would have come home from Levelland with their first District 3-4A win of this season on Friday night.
But outside shooting ended up being a key factor as Levelland connected on 10 shots from outside the three-point arc compared to Lamesa’s four three-pointers.
Those 10 long range bombs turned out making a big difference in Levelland’s 70-51 victory.
