There’s a changing of the guard in Lamesa’s Cal Ripken Baseball League.After heading up that league for the past 12 years Rick Wallace has resigned as president and Hector Carrejo has recently been elected to take over.Registration for the league, which is for all players ages 4-12, begins Tuesday and runs through Feb. 28 at West Texas Graphics, 320 N. Austin Ave. Registration is $75 per player.Wallace started with Cal Ripken when his oldest son Seth was only nine years old.
