The Lamesa Boys and Girls Club’s 135 members ended their summer season Friday with a talent show and water slide.Club staff will take next week off to wind down from students’ hectic summer break before rolling up their sleeves in preparation for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.“We will be back on Aug. 7. We will be here from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” said club director Claudia Morales.The upcoming school year begins Aug. 16.They are now accepting registration from parents of students for its after school activities.
