Both the Borden County boys and girls basketball teams were scheduled to play for third place in their own basketball tournament at Gail on Saturday. After losing their first game in pool play on Thursday, the Borden County girls bounced back with three straight victories. The Lady Coyotes fell 42-21 to New Home in that first game on Thursday after trailing 21-19 at halftime. Leading scorers for Borden County were Rayme Jones with 18 points and Madi Cole with nine.
