Klondike Cougar basketball fans had plenty to smile about on Friday night.
Klondike’s girls will be dribbling into the playoffs as District 7-1A runners-ups after holding off Borden County, 46-43, in a playoff seeding game the two area squads finished the regular season tied for second in the league with identical 7-3 marks.
That game needed to go an extra four minutes before the Cougars captured a 46-43 victory in overtime.
It was tied up at 35-all at the end of regulation. The Cougars outscored the Coyotes, 11-8, in the overtime period.
