The 10th Annual Wayne Hogg Memorial Benefit, held last weekend at Plains Fairways, netted nearly $13,000 for local charities, with more still coming in. The annual event featured not only a full golf tournament but an auction for a brand-new golf cart, along with a number of other prizes. “We had an excellent tournament,” said event founder Waylan Hogg, “and I’m proud to announce Steve Scott was our auction winner of the brand-new Club Car golf cart.
