Golden Tornado head baseball coach Bobby Alvarez has scheduled a youth baseball camp this coming week at Joe Spikes Field. This camp, slated Tuesday through Thursdays, is for all of next year’s third through ninth graders. The first session, for all third through fifth graders, will be from 9 to 11 a.m. The second session, for sixth through ninth graders will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Registration fee is $30 per student. “We’ll be stressing a lot of the basic fundamentals but the main thing we want to do with these kids this week is just have fun,” Coach Alvarez said.
