Consistency helped Lamesa’s Kent Bartlett win the Labor Day Golf Tournament held this past Monday at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course.Bartlett shot a 34 on both the front as well as on the back nine to win this tournament by two shots.It’s the first time that Bartlett remembers winning a golf tournament after first picking up the game some 40 years ago back when he was a sophomore at South Plains College.“I don’t always even make the championship flight.
