All five neighboring sixman high schools will be represented at this weekend’s Region I-IA Track & Field Championships at South Plains College at Levelland.Sands’ girls will be looking to return to state in the 1,600-meter relay, an event which helped the Mustangs win state each of the past two seasons.The Mustangs have Elysa Martinez and Hayley Connell back from last year’s state champion mile relay which won the gold with a timeof 4:11.05.
