Area high schools will be seeing some different opponents in district athletic competition beginning next year as a result of the UIL realignment announced Monday.
When the Borden County Coyotes begin their bid for a 13th straight district title it will be against different competition.
“I can’t ever remember playing people like Whiteface before in football. Next year, we’re going to have road trips to both Whiteface and Wellman,” BC Coach Trey Richey said.
