The O’Donnell Eagles were huge 44-point favorites to get back into the win column Friday night at Anton.
Somebody must have forgot to tell the Bulldogs. A fast start Friday night helped pave the way for the Bulldogs’ 46-32 six-man football victory over the Eagles.
“We flat got out-played. We just didn’t show up ready to play,” said a rather disgusted O’Donnell Coach Fernando Baeza shortly after the game.
The 2-2 Eagles trailed 34-8 at the half.
Junior Blaze Garces was OHS’s top rusher with 158 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Junior Caleb Lowe ran for 51 yards and one touchdown.
