SEMINOLE – With a period of indecision effectively delaying the 11th tri-annual “Great Comeback” all-school reunion in 2020 for one year, the slightly scaled-back event proceeded Sept. 24-25 with roughly half the nearly 500 attendees who had returned to Seminole for the homecoming weekend event four years ago.

The House and Senate on Thursday approved a shortterm Continuing Resolution (CR), averting a partial government shutdown, keeping federal agencies funded through December 3. The stopgap funding measure passed the Senate on a vote of 65-35 and cleared the House 254-175.
The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Texas has announced the first funding application deadline of October 29, 2021, for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). A second funding application deadline will be February 11, 2022.
