Klondike High School student council members have been collecting items for the local Lights of Love campaign which provides Christmas gifts for children of low-income families. Decorated Christmas trees stationed at the Dawson County Public Library are helping local organizations raise funds for their causes.

The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas Parade Saturday night brought out a ton of kids visiting with Santa, making gingerbread houses, seeing a parade that cruised around Forrest Park and watching a fireworks show to wrap up the evening.
