Tuesday night was an exciting one for Sands High School hoop fans as both the Mustangs’ girls and boys basketball squads pulled off victories. Sands’ state-ranked girls are now off to a 3-0 start after blowing out Sterling City, 57-21. After leading 11-8 at the end of the first quarter, Sands started pulling away by outscoring Sterling City 20-3 in the second period. “We finally started hitting.
