Dawson school officials are proposing to lower the district’s property tax rate by just over 9 cents compared to last year. The school board on Thursday voted to propose a 2019-2020 tax rate of 1.06835 per $100 worth of property value, according to Superintendent Layne Sheets. That is down from last year’s rate of $1.17.
