In addition to providing meals for students attending the upcoming summer school, the Lamesa school district will be offering “grab-and-go” meals throughout the summer to all children age 18 and under.

One hundred and fifteen Lamesa High School seniors will be getting their diplomas during graduation ceremonies at 8 p.m. Friday at Tornado Stadium.
It’s been five years in the making, but city officials took another step this week in financing an $11-million water supply improvement project to help ensure residents don’t face a shortage of water.
O’Donnell High School’s graduation ceremony honoring 21 seniors is scheduled for 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday in the school gymnasium.
It is any graffiti artist’s dream: three walls, all the spray paint and house paint they need, and sitting right across from the law enforcement center without concerns of getting arrested for vandalism.
