Dawson County Hospital District (DCHD) board members set the groundwork when they agreed Tuesday to nominate two of their own to begin the search for local or regional construction companies to build a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) facility.

Lamesa High School’s Golden Tornado Band performed their Spring Concert Friday night in the school auditorium before conducting the annual band banquet in the cafeteria. It is one of the last community performances given by 16 band members who are graduating May 20.
