Dawson County Hospital District (DCHD) board members set the groundwork when they agreed Tuesday to nominate two of their own to begin the search for local or regional construction companies to build a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) facility.The board appointed board President Joe Cope and Vice-President David Sanderson to draw up a draft Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and a bid packet in search of a local company to build the facility.“I definitely want locals to bid it,” Sanderson said. “This is not a complex medical facility.
