Donations for scholarships and supplies for children attending the River Ministry VBS will be the focus of the May women’s luncheon at Second Baptist Church. That luncheon will be held from 12 noon until 1 p.m. this Thursday at 1705 North Bryan Avenue in Lamesa. Women who attend the luncheon are asked to bring pencils, pens, markers, glue, glue sticks, crayons, colored pencils and health kits (cloth bags, soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, comb, wash cloth and tract).
