A Dawson County resident was killed in a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning in Ector County, according to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety office in Midland. Brandon L. Contreras, 25, of Welch, was pronounced dead at the scene along IH-20 about nine miles west of Odessa by the Ector County Medical Examiner, a press release from Sergeant Oscar Villarreal, Safety Education/Media Communications, with the Texas Highway Patrol said.
