In the future, anyone walking into a school building’s front door will have to go through a detection system searching for any potential weapons coming onto school grounds.School board members Thursday agreed to spend $89,369 for five sets of the OPENGATE company’s detection systems.The district will pay for the cost through grant dollars.The equipment is made up of two electronic columns.
