Don’t expect the rains that recently passed through town to result in the lifting of the city’s Stage 2 water restrictions.“No, not at the moment. I don’t want to pull the restrictions yet and it getting hot and people using water like crazy. I’m going to leave it for awhile,” said Ernest Ogeda, the city’s director of utilities.Two thunderstorms came to town on Independence Day and Sunday night. It also rained Monday, dropping the temperatures into a comfortable sweater weather mode that disappeared once the weather cleared.The restrictions mainly impact when residents, supplied by city water, can irrigate their lawns.
