After years of waiting, Lamesa City Council members gave the green light Tuesday night to start the next step for a long desired waterline.
They agreed to allow the architectural/engineering firm of Parkhill, Smith and Cooper of Lubbock, to implement a construction bid process for contractors to do the job.
“We’re ready to call for bids finally after four and a half years,” said City Manager Sean Overeynder.
