Directors of the Mesa Underground Water District approved 15 water well permit requests and agreed to a contract with an attorney during their regular meeting this past Wednesday. The Tom Estes Estate Trust and Marion Snell each received permits for five new water wells. Jake Teichroeb received two permits, and Donnell Echols, Rocky Free and Ty Askew each received two. The board agreed to a request by Jacob Hernandez, the district’s general manager, to delay action on two permits requested by Andy Boyd.
