Mesa Underground Water Conservation District (Mesa UWCD) board members accepted the 20232024 audit report on the district’s finances during their regular Wednesday morning meeting.Derek Ray of Davis, Ray and Co., certified public accountants, gave a clean opinion on the numbers. The firm has been doing the district’s audit for the past decade.The audit found the district’s combined net position was $350,461 as of Sept. 30. The general fund reported a fund balance of $306,918.During the year, the district’s expenses were $3,312 more than the $176,419 generated in taxes, charges for services, interest and other revenues for governmental activities.In other business,
