Seven permits for new water wells were approved by directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation during their regular meeting last week. Six of those permits were for new irrigation wells, including two for Hutch Hawkins, two for Shawn Holladay, one for Tom and Vicki Anderson, and one for Ira Royce Dyess. One permit for a domestic well was approved for Key Farms.
