Only four voting boxes will be open in Dawson County during the statewide election on Nov. 5 to determine the fate of 10 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution.
Members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court voted in late August to consolidate polling locations scattered across the county into four boxes – one for each county precinct – located in Lamesa.
Voting by precincts will be at the following locations:
Precinct 1 – Box 1 in the Justice of the Peace office at the county courthouse (includes those who normally vote in Ackerly and Sparenberg);
