Juveniles appear to be responsible for a rash of incidents in which buildings, autos, fences and other places were vandalized with spray paint this past Monday night, according to Lamesa Police Chief Dale Alwan, Jr. “We do have people located,” Alwan said Friday afternoon, noting police have talked to several individuals believed to have caused the damage. “They’re juveniles, most of them,” he said. Calls reporting the spray-paint vandalism began coming into the police department about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and continued into the afternoon.
