South Plains Public Health Department (SPPHD) health officials are hosting vaccination clinics in five communities next week, including one here. Nurses will administer inoculations from 12:30 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Forrest Park Community Center on S. Houston Ave. People need to call 806-637-2164 to get an appointment. The clinic is open for everyone age 12 and older, but with school soon starting officials are putting a focus on vaccinating children who meet the age requirement.
