SNYDER – The 2018 Scurry County United Way Campaign surpassed its goal. Executive Director Sheila Hale announced on Friday the campaign reached $118,326 in cash donations, including a $15,000 match from an anonymous donor, to top its goal of $180,000. Board President Jonathan Farmer said reaching the goal was a community effort and said it took hard work by everyone involved. Farmer said the board currently is planning a community celebration event to honor the 2018 campaign’s success.
