When the Lamesa Rodeo returns in a few weeks, there will be something on the schedule that was missing from last year’s events.There will be the crowning of the Rodeo Queen. Contenders for the crown win it by selling the highest number of $10 rodeo tickets. They receive $1 for every ticket they sell.Last year’s rodeo didn’t have a queen.
