South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) nurses inoculated a total of 36 adults and 24 children during a vaccination clinic held Tuesday at Forrest Community Center.
All the adults got the Moderna vaccine while children 12 and older got the Pfizer vaccine. Both vaccines are administered in two doses 3-4 weeks a part.
SPPHD’s medical staff also conducted immunization clinics in four other communities during the week.
Nurses administered a total of 43 at the Seminole clinic, 26 in Denver City and 53 in Brownfield. The vaccination drive in Tahoka was still ongoing at press time Friday afternoon.
